In loving memory of Frances Cello of Mount Prospect, Illinois, who departed this world on April 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Frances leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Maksud and George Maksud; her husband John "Skip" Cello; and her siblings, Michael "Mike" Maksud (late Sherri), Samuel "Sammy" Maksud (Betty) and Thomas "Tommy" Maksud (Elizabeth).

She is survived by: her children, Sandy (Cello), Lang (late Richard), Cindy (Cello) and Ontaneda (Dennis); her sister Dolores "Dotty" Enwia (John); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Allison, Shannon, Ashleigh and Amanda. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mar Sargis Parish Skokie - Assyrian Church of the East in honor of Frances are greatly appreciated (5050 Church Street Skokie, IL 60077).

“Growing up, some of my fondest memories are our family picnics organized by Skip and Frannie, our holidays by my Grandmother Camilla which we all enjoyed the family being together as well as the food. I am deeply saddened on Frannie's passing, but I have to believe family is waiting for her and the good things we experience in life will be waiting for her there.”
