He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Ruth Andrews; his children, Wendy Andrews, David Andrews (Julie Andrews), Laura Collier (Dale Collier), Jeff Andrews (Kristin Andrews) and Bryan Andrews (Amy Andrews); his grandchildren, Karlie Forgacs, Kelsey Barnes (Korrie), Mackenzie Forgacs (Nikki), Mitchell Griest, Carter Prentice (Paige), Kennedy Kovath (Carson), Brandon Andrews, Noah Andrews, Hayden Collier, Alayna Collier, Lilah Collier, Grace Andrews, Everett Andrews, Henry Andrews, Abigail Andrews, Olivia Andrews and Emerson Andrews; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Griest, Korrie Barnes and Krew Kovath; his siblings, Gary Andrews, Marjorie Dombrow and Craig Andrews; and his significant other Joseph Lanckhoff.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
