It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bridget Carson of Mount Prospect, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Irwin Sommerfeld; her mother Anne Pellegrino; and her brother James Pellegrino. She is survived by: her children, David Sommerfeld, Ellen Hanson (Kenneth Smith) and Robert Sommerfeld; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Samuel, Daniel (Tara), R. J., Danielle (Tommy) and Jillian.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, Inc. (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
