Bernard left this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McCudden and Rosaline McCudden; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Gasior and Jim Gasior (Gis). He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCudden; his daughters, Kimberly Schau (Aaron) and Jennifer Allen (Damian); his grandchildren, Andrew, Danielle Schau, Madison and Devin Allen; and his sisters, Margaret Scholl (late Richard), Rose Mary Greco (late Randy) and Patricia Overhuls (Carl).

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Emily Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

“Bernie, I enjoyed working with you over the decades. You were one of the good guys. My history started at Harris in the seventies with my employment at Frank Cordary Motor Service as a Driver, and we hauled steel to Harr from the ports and mills. Then, years later, I was a software engineer with Midwest Business Computers, and Harris was one of our early clients. That was our first introduction, and it lasted for years and years. You were a great person and client, and I will miss you.”
