He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Monke and Alma Monke (Niemann); his wives, Dolores Monke of Mt. Olive and Nina Stevenson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.; his great grandchild Anna Dolores Monke; his siblings, Evelyn Witzgall, Leslie Monke (Bonnie) and Walter Monke (Lucille); and his in-laws, Vernon and Alice Droste.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Monke (Priscilla) of Plain City, OH, Carol Rosenthal (Jeff) of New Palestine, IN and Jim Monke (Tamara Resler) of Washington, D. C.; his grandchildren, Travis Monke (Irene Calboli) of Singapore, Holly Eades (Mark) of Plain City, OH, Nathan Monke (Jennifer) of Mt. Olive, Katie Bradley (Kasey) of Denver, CO, Susan Rosenthal (Luke Amos) of Indianapolis, IN, Connor Monke and Ryan Monke of Washington, D. C.; and his great grandchildren, Alessandro, Allegra Monke of Singapore, Michaela, Danielle, Jacqueline Eades of Plain City, OH, Ava Bradley of Denver, CO and Oliver Monke of Mt. Olive.
