He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann Garmon (Stone) and William Garmon; and his sister Debra Marie Fitzanko. He is survived by: his siblings, Francis "Frankie" Palm of Peoria, Kenneth "Eddie" Palm of Tremont and Tina Palm Cunningham of Mapleton; and his partner Jaylene Knapp of Mount Olive.
