With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Thomas (Mount Olive, Illinois), who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughters, Sarah Hahn (Bob), Teresa Price (Jake) and Patricia Zillen (Patrick); her siblings, Ron Yurkovich (Christy) and Barbara Rhodes (Bill); and her grandchildren, Quintin Zillen, Emma, Alex Hahn, Zoe and Cooper Price.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Catholic Parish Church (705 E Main St, Mt Olive, IL 62069). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Public Library and the Mt. Olive Care Center/Food Pantry.
