He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rosenthal and Phillomena Rosenthal (Darda); his siblings, Violet Reins (Rosenthal), Darwin and John Rosenthal; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Rosenthal (Poeling).
He is survived by: his wife Antonia Meyer; his children, Debra Jean Heeren (Mark Thompson), Robert Eugene Rosenthal, Stephanie Lynn Blankenship (Brian) of Litchfield and Sandra Kay Young (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Ryan Heeren, Adam Heeren (Melissa), Devin Heeren (Kristin), Shelbey Polkowski (Dan), Chase Blankenship (Shelbie), Cole Blankenship, Kenny Jr. (Stephanie), Dana Romag (Lars), Blake Shannon (Chelsea) and Samantha Shannon; and his brother Lavern Rosenthal of Mt. Olive. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
