With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Violet Brines of Mount Olive, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Gill and Pearl Gill (Seeger); her spouse Verne E. Brines; her daughter Jill Spencer; her sister Delores Kline; her grandson Jason Smiley; her great grandchild Anna Dolores Monke; and her brother-in-law Arthur Hinz (Sam).
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Brines (Kay) of Mt. Olive, Warner Brines (Maria) of Oxford, MS and Priscilla Monke (Donald) of Plain City, OH; her son-in-law Clayton Spencer of Edwardsville, IL; her grandchildren, Valerie Frizzo, Jeb Brines, Travis Monke, Holly Eades, Nathan Monke, Kyle Spencer, Hayden Brines, Lawson Brines and Brayden Smiley; and her siblings, John Pakovich (Kim) of Panama, IL, June Hinz of Mt. Olive and Rhonda Pegal of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
