She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Kohli and Alvena Kohli (Miller); and her husband Doyle McOwen. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Steele (Terry Schuster) of Oregon, Patrice Steele (Gordon) of West Bloomfield and Cynthia Poole (Kevin Seiler) of Littleton, Colorado.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
