He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Tegeler and Winnie Tegeler (Tervelt); his wife Edna Mae Wiersema; and his siblings, Kate Ottens, Theresa VenHuizen, Ann Shaver, Bernice Tegeler, Ben, Clarence, John, Kenneth, Louis, LeRoy, Henry and Marvin.
He is survived by: his children, Laurinda K. (Rich) and Roger D. Tegeler (Sue) of Maynard, Iowa; his sister Pauline Wherry of Sterling; his grandchildren, Pachia Rice (Mark), Nicole Tartaglia (Jim), Tabatha Osmundson (Jesse) and Joshua Tegeler (Becky); his great grandchildren, Payton Broshous, Elijah Rice, Piper Brown, Jameson Brown, Lydia Tegeler, Caleb Tegeler, William Osmundson and Jamie Osmundson; and his great great grandchild Hartlee Broshous.
