She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gross and Gertrude Gross (McKillip); her husband Don; her grandson Adam M. Dunkel; and her sister Jannette Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Dunkel (Jake) of Tulsa, Carla Drone (Bernie) and Dean Bennett of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jennifer Adrian (Kevin) of Broken Arrow, Curtis Dunkel (Paula) of Tulsa, Sabrina Staub (Josh) of Waterloo, Samantha Newkirk (Jake) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Jake Drone (Hilary) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Joe Drone (Kayla) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Adam, Harrison Dunkel, Elyse Adrian, Ruby, Aleah, Hattie, Asa Newkirk, Amelia, Isabella, Vivienne, Valerie, Savannah Staub, Hazel, Josie Drone, Joe and Kayla; and her siblings, Bob Gross (Laura) of Dodgeville and Connie Kilcoyne of Cameron, Wisconsin..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Chapel of Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863).
