He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Brewer and Anna Louise Brewer (Ramsey); and his sister Patti Dunkel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brewer; his children, Sheri Carpenter (Tim) and Bradley Brewer (Christy); his sister Joyce Young; his siblings-in-law, Don Dunkel and Mary Lou Jeffers; his grandchildren, Lauren Hocking (Philip), Steven Zimmer (Sarah), Derek Zimmer (Cassie), Taryn Morgan (Luke), Lexi Brewer and Logan Brewer; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Eli, Benjamin Hocking, Blake and Zoey Zimmer.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (125 W 5th St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (125 W 5th St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery (11336 N 1550 Blvd, Mt Carmel, IL 62863).
