With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Stevens Hering (Mount Carmel, Illinois), born in Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herman Stevens; her grandmother Katherine Clemetine Stevens (Katie); her mother Pearl Higgins Stevens (Higgins) of West Salem, Illinois.; her grandparents, Charles, Ida Higgins and Claude; her aunts and uncles, Wilma Higgins, Clarence, Lorene Higgins, Claude Junior Stevens, Edna, Fred Pattillo and Robert Stevens; and her cousins, Charles Higgins, Ronnie Stevens, John Stevens, Jim Stevens and Betty Stark Rodgers.
She is survived by: her daughter Krystal Naomi (Don) of Boone, IA; her husband Lindell Hering; her daughters, Sheila Colbert (Bill) of Albion, IL and Ashley Hall; her grandchildren, Alexandria Milheiser (Tony) of Bandana, KY, Logan Colbert (Tammy) of West Salem, IL, Lucy Mae Hall, Ruby Jean Hall of Lick Prairie and Monica Bice (Gunner) of Iowa; her great grandchildren, Cody, Dillon Weedon of Bandana, KY, Kimber and Raelyn Colbert of Olney, IL; her grandchildren, Kori Milheiser of Bandana, KY, Sophia Bice and Roxie Bice of Iowa; and her aunt Elizabeth Stevens of West Salem, IL..
