It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Lee Doan of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Keith and Sandra Sue Doan (Gayer); his nephew Blayne Sisson; his grandparents, Fayetta and Woody Doan; his aunt Patricia Schroeder; and his cousin Evan Thomas Doan.
He is survived by: his children, Misty Ann Doan-Bradley of West Frankfort, Dara Lynn Doan of West Frankfort, Sherry Shuster of Cleveland and Heather Conley of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; his girlfriend Janet Knowles of Orio, Illinois; his grandchildren, Christopher Doan, Wylee Fleck, Specialist Matthew Bradley and Lillyann Linsley; his great grandchildren, Colson Fleck and Scarlett Bradley; and his siblings, Patricia Sisson of Mt. Carmel, Linda Hill of Little Rock, Rick McCormick of Grayville, Sharon McCormick-Brendel of Grayville, Vickie Hodgson (Frank) of Allendale, Terry Pierce (Donnie) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois. and Carla Montgomery (Ray) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois..
