The memory of Madora Belle Haggard of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Shaw and Minnie Shaw; her husband Kenneth Eugene Haggard; her sons, Gerald and Brad Haggard; and her siblings, George Shaw, Alena Ross and Lou Neff.
She is survived by: her son Barry Haggard of Mt. Carmel; her grandchildren, B. J. Haggard, Ty Haggard and Gracee Belle Haggard; her great grandchild Ivory Ann Haggard; and her niece Donna Ross.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Antioch Cemetery.
