She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Peters and Irene Peters (Dunkel); her spouse Thomas L. Kieffer of Mary's Church; and her brothers, Don, Fred Peters (Carol) and Leon Merriel (Ann Kight-Miller).

She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Kieffer (Gloria) of Mt. Carmel, Jeff Kieffer (Goldie) of Allendale, Paul Kieffer (Misty) of Mt. Carmel and Joseph Kieffer (Christy) of Browns; her siblings, Nick Peters (Dee), Linda Sutton (Jack), Jim Peters (Bill Moretini) and Annette Weems (Brad); and her grandchildren, Christopher Kieffer (Erin), Darron Kieffer (Kim), Patrick Kieffer, Amanda Thombleson, Tabatha Lang, Nick Kieffer (Sara), Patty Windle (Hank) and Kyle Kieffer (Taylor).

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
