He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Charles and Lillian Skidmore (Morgan); his brother Ward (Barbara Skidmore); and his nephew Frankie Skidmore. He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Deisher; his children, Deana LaVarier (Jeff) of Mt. Carnel, Shawn Campbell (Darin) of Mt. Carmel and Jonathan Skidmore of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Trent LaVarier (Kaleigh), Taylor Lavarier (Kaeli), Connor LaVarier (MyLeah), Dakota Campbell and Shealey Campbell; his great grandchildren, Cash, Sawyer and Beau LaVarier; and his brothers, Harry Skidmore (Cherrell) of Pikeville and Rob Skidmore of Morgantown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
