We bid farewell to Barbara Elaine Earnest of Mount Carmel, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2024 at the age of 81. Barbara Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Isenburg and Virginia Isenburg (Fritschle); and her husband Neil Earnest. She is survived by: her brother Jerry Isenburg (Sue) of Springfield, IL; her children, Todd Earnest (Elizabeth) of Mount Carmel, IL, Telisa Laws of Mount Carmel, IL and Teresa Brown (Bill) of Mokena, IL; and her grandchildren, Shealey Greathouse (Laws), Levi Laws, Natalie Laws, Elliott Laws, Elijah Laws, Luke Laws, Sarah Laws, Tyler Brown, Connor Brown, McKenzye Earnest, Lillyianne Earnest, Vivianne Earnest, Skyler Pritchett and Kamden Pritchett. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parkview Christian Church (11467 N 1550 Blvd, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to Parkview Christian Church or Oil Belt Christian Service Camp.
