She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Patton and Charlotte Patton (Haubold); her husband Peter Girup; her son Richard Girup; and her siblings, Rose, Opal Patton and Vernell Patton.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack Girup (Jennifer) of Athens, IL, David Girup (Jennie) of Mt. Auburn, IL and Steven Blackburn (Susan) of Pleasant Valley, CT; her grandchildren, Miles Patton, Michelle Ferguson, Peter Girup, James Girup, Averill Blackburn, Steven Blackburn and Amanda Mikula; her great grandchild Kaylie Ferguson; and her cousins, Sherry Gilpin of Taylorville, IL and Jan Smith (Paul) of Riverton, IL. She is also survived by many other great-grandchildren, nieces and cousins.
