We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2021, at the age of 92, Robert Fisher of Mount Auburn, Illinois, born in Illiopolis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Fisher and Alma Fisher (Stelzriede); his daughter Judith Marie Fisher; his stepson Daniel Shafer; his great grandchild Koty Cook; his siblings, Gene Fisher and Patsy Willoughby; and his niece Laura Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley R. Fisher of Mt. Auburn; his children, Kenneth Fisher (Tineal) of Taylorville, Debra Fisher-Knowles of Mt. Auburn, Sandra Gudausky (Anthony) of Harristown and Michelle Abbott (Michael) of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, Christopher, David, Shawn Fisher, Crystal Cook Young, Kent Cook, Jasmine Gregg, Melissa Carey, Ivy Knowles, Jennifer, Christina, Jessica Stephens and Alisha Abbott-Yoch; his siblings, Richard Fisher of Mt. Auburn and Paula Anderson of Westerville, OH; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Fisher of Taylorville. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
