With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sue Butcher of Mount Auburn, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Whaley and Virgie Whaley (Milligan); her parents-in-law, Leroy and Ilah Butcher; her brothers, Orville Allen (Marguerite) and Charles Allen; her nephew Gary Allen; her brother Robert; and her sister-in-law Lois Butcher.

She is survived by: her husband William D. Butcher; her children, Susan Zawodniak (Mark) and Tim Butcher (Janet); and her grandchildren, Jessica Dunphy, Jaime Haener (Jon), Jacob Butcher (Becci), Alayna Gleason (Matt) and Jason Dunphy (Melanie). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
