It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ward of Mount Auburn, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ward and Lucille Ward (Davis); his siblings, Harry Ward, Shirley Stuart and Phyllis Ludwig; and his pet Flea Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Brown; his sons, Brian (Denise) and Brad Ward (Barb); his grandchildren, Jessi Turpin (Jimmy), Brooke Logue (Jacob), Andy Ward (Lauren) and Aaron Ward; his great grandchildren, Luna Turpin, Dax Logue and Weston Ward; his brother Sam Ward; and his pet Chandler.
Memorial donations may be made in John's name to the Animal Protective League of Springfield or The American Cancer Society.
