She was predeceased by: her husband David Powell; her children, Ralph Lane (Darlene), Shirley Perkins (Oral) and James Powell; her sisters, Rachel Adams, Lovie "Tudie" Thompkins, Irene McBride and Gloria Schoffner; her grandchildren, Taurice Lane, Terrell Lane, David "DJ" Ballard, Essence and Nechole Lane; and her children-in-law, Kathleen Lane and Eric Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Ballard (Dave) of Pulaski, IL, Emmett "Dewayne" Lane of Pulaski, IL, Christine Reed of Cape Girardeau, MO, David Powell (Jean) of Fort Stewart, GA, Darlene Winston (Larry) of Mounds, IL and Donald Powell of Hopkinsville, KY; and her brother Harold Milbourn (Jo) of Chicago, IL.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
