He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Lee Brown, Sr. and Vertrice Brown; his wife Marilyn Bessie Brown; his siblings, Diane Bingham and Anthony Brown, Sr.; and his nephew Kenneth Tucker, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Cherlyn Fowler, Marlon Brown and Elisha Brown; and his siblings, Daniel Brown, Sr. (Laura), Michael Brown, Bernard Brown, Sr. (Deborah), Thomas Brown, Sr., Timothy Brown, Sr., Lorraine Johnson, Carolyn Brown (Eddie), Vertrice Brown, Margaret Lee, Marcy Cummings (Tony) and Monica Woodson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and lifelong special friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Massie Funeral Home (429 Oakley St, Mounds, IL 62964-1158). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Green Lawn Memorial Garden.
