With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda L. Hughes (Mounds, Illinois), who passed away on March 30, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl S. White and Margaret Hyte; and her siblings, Irene "Cookie" Isibue, Margaret "Tiny" Hyte, Darlene Simelton and Carl Sessom.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Hughes; her cousin Elder Ronnie White; her children, Sher Hyte, Darris Hyte and JoKarla Hughes (Tim'Mesha); and her brothers, Carlos Hyte, Tyrone Hyte, Ronald Hyte (Shelia) and Anthony "Jerry" Hyte. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
