With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice E. Cross (Mounds, Illinois), who passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McDougle and Essie Mae McDougle (Cole); her husband Johnnie Cross; and her siblings, John McDougle, Ora Mae Luster, Ella Jones, Lessie McDougle and Lee McDougle.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Cross of Henderson, Emmie Cross of Cape Girardeau, Martha Powell of Cairo, Judy Hughes of Mounds, Mary Bridges of Carterville and Lydia Nelson (Robert, Jr.) of Ullin, Illinois.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
