He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Weinstein and Agnes Weinstein (Thewlis); and his granddaughter Katie Weinstein. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Weinstein of Indianapolis; his children, Nancy Gregori (Robert) of Indianapolis and Cody Weinstein (Mary) of Carmel, Indiana; his grandchildren, Megan Weinstein, Maggie Pisano (Nick) and Aaron Gregori (Erica); his great grandchildren, Rocky Pisano, Nico Pisano, Charlotte Gregori and River Gregori; and his brother Phillip "Bud" Weinstein of Metamora.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Marine Corps Toys for Tots, checks made payable to "Marine Toys For Tots Foundation".
