He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Herbst and Kathryn Herbst (Stultz); his wife Roberta Hoffman of Morton; his children, Linnea Zimmerman (Mike) of Naperville, Ill. and Garrick (Elizabeth) of Bettendorf, Iowa; his grandchildren, Evan, Taylor Zimmerman, Ian and Kathryn Herbst; and his sister Carolyn Ullensvang (Leon) of Warson Woods.
