He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Grier and Coletta Cook Grier; his son Rhett A. Grier of Morton; and his brothers, Jim, Skip, Dick, John, Dave and Jerry.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa D. Grier (Judy Grier); and his sister Sally Thurman of Morton.
