He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Forret and Velma Forret (Smith); his brother David Forret; and his brother-in-law Mark Braverman. He is survived by: his wife Anne Forret of Morton; his children, Amy Ulbricht (Jason) of Morton and Nathan Forret (Nina) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his granddaughter Gianna Ulbricht; and his siblings, Jeff Forret (Sharon), Deb Braverman, Barb Pethoud (Steve), Karen Harder (Alan) and Monica Forret (Joseph "Doc" McCaffrey).
Memorials may be made to First Mennonite Church in Morton or Midwest Food Bank – Morton Division.
