It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Zobrist Brenkman of Morton, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kruse and Frieda Kruse (King); her former spouse Alpha Zobrist; her husband Carl Brenkman; her brothers, Wayne, Reiner and Ed; and her great grandchild Isabel Chatwell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Morton (William II) of Morton, Kathy Rugaard (Neil) of Morton, Emily Stubbs (Terry) of Morton, Rev. Tom Zobrist (Cindi) of Eureka and Matt Zobrist (Lorna) of Eureka; and her grandson Ben. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
