She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis R. Rowell and Zenith Miller Rowell; her nephews, Jeremy and Joshua Birkmeier; and her sister Betty Ann.
She is survived by: her sister Nancy Birkmeier of Pekin; her nephew Rob Dennis (Marcia) of Tremont; her aunt Arlene Gates of Tremont; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah, Joshua, Hannah, Jesse and Emma.
