He is survived by: his parents, Calvin Burroughs and Diana Burroughs (Rein) of Morton; his former wife Sheila Ragland; his wife Wendy Burroughs of Morton; his daughters, Chloe Blankenship (Brock) of Lincoln and Cayle Klein (Taylor) of Tekamah, Nebraska; his stepchildren, Bailey Hoadley of Denver, Colorado and Caleb Hoadley of Columbus, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Titus and Asher Blankenship; and his siblings, Melissa Mohr (Kevin) of Hopedale and Kurt Burroughs of Morton. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.

Memorials may be made to the Milford Volunteer Fire Department in Milford, Nebraska or to the St. Jude Runners' Association.
