She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Smith-Johnson and Wynne Smith-Johnson (Nooner); and her brother-in-law Randy Wiese. She is survived by: her husband Craig Sams; her son Ken Bruening (Jackie) of Omaha, Neb.; her grandchildren, Quinn and Lucy; and her siblings, Shari Wiese of Morton, Brenda Cox of Canton, Delaine Gamble (Richard) of Chillicothe, Cynthia Oakes of Bloomington, Alice Langley (Alan) of Indianola, Iowa and Terry Smith of Bloomington, Ill..
