It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth E. Werkman (Morton, Illinois), born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Werkman and Bertha Werkman (Keck); and her siblings, Robert Werkman, Albert Werkman and Dorothy Fern Werkman.
She is survived by: her brother Marvin "Fritz"; and her sister-in-law Marietta Werkman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Harbor Light Hospice at 3000 N Main St. Unit C East Peoria, IL 61611 or to Down Syndrome Research and will be accepted at the funeral home.
