It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxanne Nix of Morton, Illinois, born in Cleveland, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Carnell and Lola M. Marsh Carnell; her husband Billy R. Nix; her siblings, Chuck Carnell and Imogene Gabriel; and her pet Gretchen.
She is survived by: her nieces, Patricia Nelson of Peoria and Frances Greer of Washington; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tonya, Star, Charles, Freddy, Chucky and Daniel. She is also survived by 9 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Kidney Foundation.
