It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosa Lee Newkirk (Morton, Illinois), born in Kirkersville, Ohio, who passed away on March 11, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Mary Gladys (Reelhorn); her sister Emma Jean Emerson (Harold Jerome Newkirk); and her son Richard "Dick" Newkirk. She is survived by: her parent Lee Emerson; her spouse Harold Jerome Newkirk; her daughter Sally of Washington; her grandchildren, Jessica Soja (Seth), Jeff Deeds (Kayla) and Robert Barton; her great grandchildren, Emma, Josephine, Ethan, Issac, Cameron, Andrew and Isla; and her sister Judy Emerson of Pataskala. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew; many cousins.
