He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Leah Smallenberger (Rapp); his sister Sandra Rebholz; his brother-in-law Albert Rebholz; and his brother Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Burger; his children, Jason Smallenberger (Melissa), Jodi Ciotti (Erik Ciotti) and James Smallenberger (Jillian); his grandson Jason; his great grandchild Ella Smallenberger; his granddaughter Jodi; his great grandchildren, Evan and Andrew Ciotti; his grandson James; his great grandchildren, Henry and Jack Smallenberger; his nieces, Kelly Marquardt (Mike) and Lora Eleam (Brian) of Redmond; his nephew Brian Rebholz (Angie) of Morton; his siblings-in-law, Linda Tillis and Bill Burger (Susan Greenberg); and his nieces and nephews, Devon, Jordan and Carly Burger.
The family will hold a private burial at Morton Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery and requests that any contributions in Ron's honor be made to Community United Church of Christ or Midwest Food Bank.
