He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hines and Elsie Hines (Schneider); his wife Betty Nixon; and his siblings, Bill, Jim, Catherine Landes and Carol Brophy.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Dee Saupe (Paul) of East Peoria, Sandy Streeter of Morton and Bob Hines (Courtney) of Groveland; and his brother John "Dick" Hines (Kay) of Port Orange, Fla.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, Knights of Columbus, T.A.P.S. or Kennel Lake Sportsmen's Club in Morton.
