Richard Reeser Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Reeser of Morton, Illinois, born in Goodfield, Illinois, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reeser and Emma Reeser (Moser); and his siblings, Dorothy Aeschliman, Marie Petrosky, William Reeser, Frank Reeser and Linda Waller.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Reeser of East Peoria, Kathy Schleyer (Steve) of West Glacier, Mont and Jeff Reeser of Groveland; his grandson Nick Reeser of Morton; his sister Edna Tellkamp of Port Charlotte, Fla; and his wife Kay Connell of Morton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a. m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, 1020 S. First Ave. Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the service and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
