It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Yordy of Morton, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Lois Aberle. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Weer of Lexington, Ill. and Mike Yordy (Jenny) of Morton; and her grandchildren, Julie Maglares (George), Scott Weer, Natalie Weer, Michael Yordy II (Holly), Jason Yordy (Tricia) and Sara Cowley (Travis). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Mennonite Church in Morton or Peoria Rescue Ministries.
