With solemn reverence, we commemorate Norman Cloyes of Morton, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 12, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cloyes and Amanda Cloyes (Sarff); his siblings, Alan and Rose Perry; his grandson Jeremy Hardaway; and also, Holly Hanson and Elizabeth Hardaway.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Tharp (Dan) of Paducah, KY, Sandra Dillon (Jack) of River Forest, IL and Michael Cloyes (Leesa) of Norman, OK; and his stepson Whit Hardaway of Gainesville, TX.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Beardstown City Cemetery (1804 Wall St, Beardstown, IL 62618).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ducks Unlimited.
