He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Schmidt and Clara Schmidt (Ritthaler); his wife Irene Ackerman; his daughter Carol Huser of Cape Coral, Fla.; and his granddaughter Alison Voudrie (Stan) of Annapolis.
