It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin D. Lowery (Morton, Illinois), born in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lowery and Luella Lowery (Johnson); and his siblings, Lois Herren and Donald Lowery. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Vermillion; his daughters, Tina Vance (Jim) of Robein and Angela Taylor (Robert) of Ellsworth; his grandchildren, Karl Muehe, Jagur Muehe and Tiffany Bennett (Richard); his great grandchildren, Lilly, Rylan and Jean-Luc; and his brother Leslie Lowery (Carol) of Macomb, Mississippi.
