We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2019, at the age of 83, Margaret E. Welk (Morton, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Essig and Agnes Essig (Birkett); and her brother Donald Essig. She is survived by: her husband Donald Welk; and her daughters, Patti Vance (Rick) of Tremont, Becky Mischler (Scott) of Morton and Karen Martin (Mark) of Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
