She is survived by: her husband Dr. Earl Earnest Melchers; her son Brian Melchers (Laurie) of Greenwood, Indiana; her granddaughters, Rachel Leigh Melchers (Graham Crosh) of Chicago and Danielle Rae Melchers of Greenwood; and her brother Roderick Mason (Judith) of Colchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
