She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Christian George and Clara Alice Zacheis (Rosenthal); and her brother Lyndon Zacheis. She is survived by: her husband Norman Lloyd Thornton; her children, Jean Cowling (Fred) of Delavan, David Thornton (Janeen) of Dripping Springs, Joyce Robinson (Kevin) of East Peoria and Jill Highfill (Todd) of Morton; and her siblings, Lloyd Zacheis of Oakdale, Launa Giacomo of Lively Grove and Harold Zacheis. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
