He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bohnker and Lois Bohnker (Johnston); and his brother Craig. He is survived by: his wife Anna Bohnker of Morton; his children, Douglas Bohnker (Chelsea) of Washington, Jeff Bohnker (Nicole) of Peoria and Ashley Bohnker Cox (Kyle) of Cypress, Texas; his grandchildren, Riley, Caitlin, Ivette and Elise; and his siblings, Kent Bohnker and Marilyn Bohnker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home (140 S Detroit Ave, Morton, IL 61550). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1020 S First Ave, Morton, IL 61550).
Memorials may be made to Morton Knights of Columbus, Morton Opportunity Club supporting the KHB Scout Fund or Northwestern Memorial Foundation supporting the Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute.
