With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Mollenhauer of Morton, Illinois, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Mollenhauer and Anna Mollenhauer (Wickham); his wife Sharon Mollenhauer of Morton; his children, Julie Lee of Norfolk, Jean Kunz (Jim) of Albuquerque, N. M. and Eric Mollenhauer (Ronda) of Mapleton, Ill.; his grandchildren, Nicole Lee of Brooklyn, N. Y., Jocette Lee (Salih) of Izmir, Turkey, Lindsay Kunz (Ryan Botts) of Seattle, Wash, Aaron Kunz (Bethany) of Mesa, Ellie Mollenhauer of Bloomington and Emma Mollenhauer of Mapleton, Ill.; his great grandchild Everett Kunz of Mesa, Ariz.; and his siblings, Jim Mollenhauer (Darlene) of Mapleton, Gene Mollenhauer (Joan) of Toddville, Steve Mollenhauer (Linda) of San Diego, Calif., Trudy Carroll (Terry) of Primrose, Colo. and Sherrie Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria.
